skinning mammal toes
skin the foot as far as possible and
cut the foot off below ankle - split
each toe so you can see each
individual toe

inverted - trim off inner pad with
knife and cut bone off with side
cutters - continue and do each toe
use a NOT sharp knife to cut tissue
between toes as you g-e-n-t-l-y tug
- toe will separate easilly
put each separate toe one at a
time into vise
use a moderately sharp knife - not
a scalpel
here is the real culprit for smell (the underside
of the main pad) - it has a thick snot consistency
and MUST be removed or the mount will smell
forever - i wait and remove it after tanning - this
thickens it up and i wirewheel it out
